33” Rosalind Gold and Acrylic Buffet Lamp

Rosalind is the dressiest of the group. A slim gold column runs the full thirty-three inches, interrupted at the base by a round disc of clear acrylic that catches light and makes the lamp look as though it is floating just above the surface. The shade is the other half of the argument — a scalloped white linen taper, the kind of detail that softens all that polish and keeps the lamp from tipping into anything too glamorous. It is a good choice where you want a buffet lamp to be noticed: a powder room console, a bar, the far end of an entry table. The clear base also means it visually disappears on a crowded sideboard, which is more useful than it sounds.
