Throw Pillows & Pillow Covers
Hand block printed, hand marbled and painterly floral throw pillows, made the slow way by artisans in Jaipur and printers in England. Each block print and marbled design is named for a street in Atlanta — Knollwood, Chastain, Woodhaven, Arden — and because every one is made by hand, no two are quite alike.
Our block print pillow covers are stamped with hand-carved wooden blocks by an eighth-generation family of printers, a craft passed down through the same workshop for two hundred years. The hand-marbled covers are made a sheet at a time using centuries-old marbling techniques, so the pattern you receive is yours alone. The Meadow pillows are something else again: painterly florals printed in England on a cotton-linen blend, finished with contrast piping and filled with duck feather down. All of it sits comfortably in a New Regency Style™ room — traditional in its making, a little playful in the result.
Squares in 18" x 18", 20" x 20" and 24", lumbars in 14" x 20", and extra long bolsters. Read each listing for what is included: the block print and hand-marbled designs are sold as covers only, while The Meadow pillows arrive with a down insert.
