Design — The Kit
A luxury rug and home décor house defining New Regency Style™ for a generation of American collectors, designers, and tastemakers.
An editorial point of view, born in Atlanta.
Founded by Kevin Francis O'Gara, Kevin Francis Design is a luxury home design brand built around an original trademarked aesthetic philosophy: New Regency Style™. The work blends traditional silhouettes with modern punctuations — fresh yet collected, and always with a hint of whimsy.
The house is known for its signature Labyrinth carved maze rugs, the Bauhaus-inspired Color Study flatweaves, and a growing roster of original collections produced in New Zealand wool, bamboo silk, and performance nylon. Our multi-channel audience bridges a strong following of trade professionals and high-end residential customers across the country.

From design blogger to luxury house.
Kevin began publishing the design blog Thou Swell at age 16 and grew it into one of the South's most-read interior design publications, collaborating with more than 50 national home brands before its successful sale to a media company. That editorial foundation now shapes every collection, photoshoot, and brand partnership at Kevin Francis Design.
The combined reach of the house.
Across Instagram, Pinterest, the website, and the email list, Kevin Francis Design reaches a national audience of design-obsessed homeowners, working interior designers, and luxury consumers actively shopping for the home.

The Francis Files DispatchThe Francis Files
An editorial home and design publication built on nearly a decade of design writing, the Francis Files is Kevin's longest-running platform — a direct continuation of the editorial work that began with Thou Swell in 2013.
For brand partners, the Francis Files offers something Instagram cannot: long-form, SEO-indexed editorial features that live on a domain with established authority, evergreen visibility in Google Search, and integration with the broader Kevin Francis Design ecosystem of email, social, and shop.
Past editorial partners on the blog and its predecessor include Apartment Therapy, Ballard Designs, Behr Paint, The Home Depot, Hudson Valley Lighting, Frontgate, and Samsung — among more than fifty national brand collaborations.
Magazine-worthy visuals, in-house.
Every campaign, photoshoot, and editorial feature is produced in-house — combining traditional photography with a proprietary AI-assisted production workflow that allows brand partners to be styled into the New Regency Style world with the look and feel of an Architectural Digest spread.
AI-Powered Brand Campaigns.
Kevin Francis Design produces editorial-grade campaign imagery using a proprietary AI-assisted workflow — allowing partner products to be styled into bespoke, magazine-quality interiors at a fraction of the cost and timeline of traditional production.
Every render is built on the same New Regency Style aesthetic foundation: editorial composition, classical architecture, layered antiques and contemporary pieces, and the unmistakable warmth of a published interior. Brand partners can be placed into custom rooms designed around their product, season, and target customer.
