My Dorm Design for Home Depot's Summer Catalog
This project was produced in partnership with The Home Depot.
I'm so thrilled to share the dorm design I created with The Home Depot for their summer catalog – a room I produced with their incredible styling team from scratch. Inspired by the old buildings which housed my dorms at Cornell, the room features a vintage-style window – although in contrast to my old dorms, this room has a beautiful city view! The design features a mix of modern and traditional style, layered with pattern and pops of color to bring the space to life in a cozy setting.
I chose a map wall tapestry, tufted headboard, and a white nightstand with a stylish x-detail. A blue storage bench provides style and function at the end of the bed, and a faux cowhide is layered on top of a practical patterned area rug. The workspace features a modern desk and bookshelf from the Donnelly collection and a mirror on the wall to provide a built-in vanity station. You can shop the entire look on The Home Depot website, where all of these stylish, affordable decor pieces are for sale!
