Airy Dining Room Reveal With Clare Paint
This project was produced in partnership with Clare, DecoratorsBest, and Hudson Valley Lighting Group.
I'm thrilled to share that the Dove Hill dining room is featured on Domino today, with an interview on the Clare blog as well! The project was such a labor of love and a room in which I brought together some of my mother's most treasured heirlooms with my own design perspective to create a truly "new Southern" space that's both airy and rooted in tradition. Before even moving into Dove Hill I knew I wanted to pull the beautiful blue-green out of the dining chair fabric so the dining room was the perfect place to play with color and remains the only room that's not white in Dove Hill (besides the lower kitchen cabinets)! You can read all about the refreshing paint-shopping process with Clare in my earlier blog post. Besides cooling down the room with the beautiful Headspace, I sourced stunning new Mitzi buffet lamps and a brass chandelier from Hudson Valley Lighting to truly enlighten the space. Get the before and all the design details below!

The bookshelves, originally brown wood, were painted with the same color paint to give them a built-in look and placed on either side of the opening to the living room to add some subtle architecture to the room. I'm so excited about how the mix of stories and styles played out in one of our most used rooms in the house, and I can't wait to share more living spaces from Dove Hill!
