A deep, custom sofa was designed for the clients' use of their gracious living room, offering a length that better suited the room's dimensions, and performance fabric to allow a lighter linen look. Classic iron tables flank the sofa, providing symmetry and a European spirit, with a striking modernist marble coffee table composed of marble and brass as a centerpiece in the room. Navy linen swivel chairs offer a soft silhouette, and a mid-century style armchair in striae velvet by the fireplace creates a sculptural vignette.

The room's direct sunlight was buffered with the addition of custom pleated linen drapes on brass rods, which soften the architecture of this interior. A custom maze area rug was designed to accomodate the large room size and add a soft blue foundation to the mix of new and antique furnishings.
